We often hear drivers talk about how tough it is to "win just one of these things".  But, it's hard to buy that when you see Kevin Harvick roll off three in a row, or Martin Truex, Jr. grab, now, 13 trophies over just over 2 years and Kyle Busch visit Victory Lane 184 times across NASCAR's three national series.

Then you watch Clint Bowyer's unbridled joy after taking the checkered flag at Martinsville.  You knew it had been a while since he'd won; but 5 ½ years? 190 starts!

This wasn't a guy who had just snuck into Victory Lane on a gas mileage gamble or a rain-shortened win; he had 8 wins in NASCAR's premier series, and he hadn't won since President Obama was completing his first term.

I heard Mark Martin say years ago that you need to enjoy every win because you don't know when it's your last.  But, your last isn't supposed to come when you're 33.

It has been a long dry spell for Bowyer, and the elation he showed post-race was a release of every bit of that frustration.  The first thing he went looking for was a beer.

Cheers, Clint!  I'm sure we'll be toasting another soon.
