We knew a change of scenery would be good for Joey Logano. He hasn't visited Victory Lane yet, but he is having good runs and is driving with confidence.

But, he's not the guy who has most benefited from a team change. That's Matt Kenseth.

I don't think anyone expected that Kenseth would be the series leader in wins at the halfway point. Much less have four wins.

He's scored four wins in a season just twice: he had 5 in 2002 and 4 in 2006; and he didn't get the fourth win until the Bristol night race.

Despite Jimmie Johnson's dominance, Kenseth's win at Kentucky wasn't a fluke. To take advantage of Johnson's spin, he had to be in position to take advantage of it. And, Kenseth has been in that position a lot this year.

As we hit the halfway point of the year, Kenseth has already led more laps than in all but two of his SEASONS!

And, he looks like he's having fun. I can't recall ever seeing Kenseth smiling more than he has this year.

Add all that up and you can see why folks are tabbing him as the one guy who could be Johnson for the title this year.
