If you’ve ever thought you didn’t get your money’s worth at a race track, you need to spend a March Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  The Cup qualifying/Truck/Xfinity triple-header is the best value in the sport!

If you were in Atlanta this year, you saw all three national series on the track and around 9 hours of racing action (minus a few minutes when Josh Williams went full Amelia Bedelia and took the order to “park it now” literally).

Atlanta has been doing this for a few years now, and I really like it.  I think there are other opportunities throughout the year for NASCAR to double-up the Trucks and Xfinity into double-header shows.  It’s a win/win for both series; giving each the opportunity to play in front of a larger audience rather than isolating them on their own days.

We, as consumers, are always looking to get more bang for our buck; this is a great opportunity for NASCAR to deliver that and get more eyeballs on some of the future stars of the sport.
