All of us at the Performance Racing Network are thrilled to learn of Benny Parsons' selection into the NASCAR Hall of Fame today. Parsons was a very valued and loved member of the PRN team, serving as the primary host of PRN's weekly radio show "Fast Talk" from 1994 to 2007.

"Benny was one of the first drivers to make the smooth transition from the racecar to the broadcast booth," said Doug Rice, PRN president and longtime co-host with Parsons. "His down-home style and vast experience made him an instant fan favorite and it gives me great joy to see him elected in the NASCAR Hall of Fame."

Parsons won 21 races in NASCAR's premier series and was crowned champion in 1973. He was named one of NASCAR's 50 Greatest Drivers in 1998.

PRN would like to congratulate all of NASCAR's 2017 Hall of Fame class and thank them for their many contributions to our sport.
