There has been a lot said about Danica Patrick's post-wreck interview at Kansas.  I'm not going to get into what she said, the important thing to me is that she said it.  And, that's what makes this sport different from just about any other.

This sport is in a three-year period in which it's losing a lot of star power with the retirements of Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards, and now, the most popular driver in the game, Dale Earnhardt, Jr.  Many are ready to call in the priest to perform last rites.  Apparently, those folks haven't been around very long.
